FALCONS SIGN DINOS STAMOULIS TO PTO
--Assign Kelly Czuy To The Las Vegas Wranglers--

Springfield, MA – The Springfield Falcons, proud members of the American Hockey League, announced today that they have signed defenseman Dinos Stamoulis to a Professional Tryout Agreement (PTO).  The Falcons also announced they have assigned forward Kelly Czuy to the ECHL’s Las Vegas Wranglers.

Stamoulis has played in 68 games for the ECHL’s Reading Royals this year collecting five goals and 12 assists for 17 points and 104 penalty minutes.  The 6-foot, 195-pound native of Carle Place, NY is second among all Reading defensemen in goals and also second on the team in penalty minutes.  Stamoulis made his AHL debut this year as a member of the Providence Bruins appearing in one game not collecting a point.  He is in his second full season of pro hockey after spending four years at Providence College from 2003-2007.  Stamoulis was a teammate of both Colin McDonald and Cody Wild while at Providence College.

Czuy has played in three games for the Falcons this year collecting one assist.  In 37 games with Las Vegas, he has nine goals and 17 assists for 26 points and 44 penalty minutes.

The Falcons are back in action on Friday night when they head to Manchester to take on the Monarchs at the Verizon Wireless Arena starting at 7:30 pm.
