GAME WILL BE PLAYED AT AMELIA PARK

May 26, 2009 - Due to a scheduling conflict at the MassMutual Center, the Ball Hockey Game between the Springfield Falcons and Media All-Stars will now be played at the outdoor rink at Amelia Park in Westfield, MA on Saturday, May 30 from 11 am - 12-noon.  The Falcons team will consist of members of the front office staff, as well as assistant coach Gerry Fleming.  The Media All Star squad will be comprised of members of the local media including personalities from ABC 40, WWLP TV 22, CBS 3, Mix 93.1, KIX 97.9, WMAS 94.7, Western MA Sports Journal, Reminder Publications, Turley Publications, The Springfield Republican, and WRNX.

"We are really excited about this event because it's something unique that we have put together to have some fun this off-season," said Falcons president and general manager Bruce Landon.  "We have built up so many strong relationships with our local media throughout the Pioneer Valley and this gives us a chance to say thank you to individuals who support us on a regular basis."

The event is open to the public free of charge.   The Falcons will be looking to play in a few Ball Hockey games this summer so if you are interested in booking a game, contact the Falcons Office at 413-739-3344.
