GOALTENDER PITTON RECALLED FROM STOCKTON
FALCONS RELEASE TWO FROM THEIR PTO CONTRACTS
--Falcons Recall Goaltender Bryan Pitton From Stockton--
Springfield, MA – The Springfield Falcons, proud members of the American Hockey League, announced today they have released forward Bryan Ewing and goaltender Andrew Penner from their respective Professional Tryout Agreements (PTO). The Falcons have also recalled goaltender Bryan Pitton from their ECHL affiliate, the Stockton Thunder.
Pitton has played in 22 games with the Thunder this year posting a record of 9-9-3 with a 2.85 goals against average and .921 save percentage. He currently leads the Thunder in save percentage.
Penner appeared in four games with the Falcons this year posting a record of 0-3 with a 5.10 goals against average and .845 save percentage.
Ewing played in one for Springfield totaling three shots on goal at Providence on January 31.
