DUBNYK RECALLED BY OILERS - PITTON RETURNS
Oilers recall Devan Dubnyk, reassign Bryan Pitton
General Manager Steve Tambellini announced today the Edmonton Oilers have recalled goaltender Devan Dubnyk from the Springfield Falcons of the American Hockey League.
Dubnyk, 23, has appeared in nine games with the Oilers this season, posting a 0-6-1 record with a 4.17 GAA and .861 SV%.
The Oilers have also reassigned goaltender Bryan Pitton to the Falcons.
WILD, CZUY AND NICKERSON REASSIGNED TO STOCKTON
--Tarkir Released From Professional Tryout Agreement--
February 9, 2010 – The Springfield Falcons, proud members of the American Hockey League, announced today that defensemen Cody Wild, Matt Nickerson and forward Kelly Czuy have been reassigned to the Falcons’ ECHL affiliate, the Stockton Thunder. The Falcons also released defenseman Zach Tarkir from his Professional Tryout Agreement.
Wild has played in 37 games for the Falcons this year and has collected 14 assists. The North, Providence, RI native is in his second full season of pro hockey. He appeared in 59 games for Springfield last year collecting four goals and 14 assists. In six games with Stockton last year, he totaled one goal and two assists for three points.
Nickerson is in his first season with the Falcons and has played in 14 games totaling one assist and 29 penalty minutes.
Czuy started the season with Stockton picking up two goals and four assists in 16 games before being recalled to Springfield on December 31. In four games with the Falcons this year he has collected no points and five penalty minutes.
Tarkir played in seven games with the Falcons registering one assist.
