Springfield, MA – The Springfield Falcons, proud members of the American Hockey League, announced today that they will attempt to break the world record for kazoo playing when they hand out 3,000 kazoos at their game on Friday, February 29 when they host the Albany River Rats presented by AAA.
The Falcons also announced that on Saturday, March 1, they will host Western New England College Night at the MassMutual Center. As part of this special evening, the Western New England College ROTC Color Guard and Choral Program will present our Nation’s colors and take part in the signing of the national anthem. Also, Western New England College President, Dr. Anthony Caprio will drop the ceremonial first puck.

development Chris Thompson. “Western New England College continues to be a loyal supporter of Falcons hockey and
we look forward to making sure their special evening is an annual event.”
Single game tickets for the 2007-08 regular season are on sale at the MassMutual Center Box Office and online at ticketmaster.com. MassMutual Center Box Office hours are Monday-Friday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, Saturday 10am – 4 pm,
