ARBORS KIDS CLUB CONTINUES TO GROW
April 5, 2011 - The Springfield Falcons hosted a pair of community events recently that gave members of the Arbors Kids Club a chance to have dinner with their favorite Falcons player. As an added incentive to join the Kids Club this year, members of the club who attended at least 10 games were able to eat dinner at a local Friendly's Restaurant with a pair of Falcons players and a dozen families took advantage of this special offer.
Falcons defenseman John Moore and forward Kyle Neuber were the guests of honor at this special evening and the two athletes spent hours with the kids giving both the youngsters and their families a chance to get an up close and personal night with two of their favorite players this year.
"My son Justin said this was the best night of his life having dinner with John Moore and Kyle Neuber," said Mary Clemons, who attended this fun evening. "Both players were so wonderful with the kids playing tic-tac-toe and just talking with them. It is so nice the Falcons are able to do these kind of events."
The Arbors Kids Club is in its' second season of operation and it's a free club that allows youngsters a chance to be connected with the team in a variety of different avenues. New to the club this past season was the fact that the first 100 kids to join the club all received a free Arbors Kids Club T-shirt, and during the Holiday School Vacation week, the Falcons hosted a pizza party for all club members after a Falcons practice at the MassMutual Center.
Other perks that are included with the Arbors Kids Club are a personal ID Card and lanyard, membership certificate, t-shirt, autographed items and exclusive access to meet the players events.
A special thanks to Shad Hanrahan and the Arbors Kids located at 999 Memorial Drive in Chicopee, MA for all their loyal support of this special club.
