SCREECH IS BACK ON THE STREETS

On May 18, May 23, and June 6, the Falcons’ official mascot “Screech” was stationed in high traffic areas, something the bird continues to do once a week promoting the Falcons brand and interacting with individuals at each stop on the tour.  At each location Screech visits, a photo is added to the Falcons’ Official Facebook Page highlighting his appearance and there is an opportunity for fans to guess where Screech was visiting.  One random winner is chosen from each week’s correct entries to win a prize pack.

Screech’s tour will continue on June 13 and June 20.  Locations for Screech’s visits will randomly be selected throughout the surrounding Pioneer Valley and Northern Connecticut communities.

FALCONS MAKE LARGE DONATION TO RED CROSS AND SALVATION ARMY FOR TORNADO RELIEF

The staff of the Springfield Falcons Hockey Team hit the streets of Springfield on Saturday, June 4 from 10 am to 3 pm to execute some grass roots relief efforts.  The Falcons staff used the front of their offices on Falcons Way as a tornado relief drop off center where individuals could drop off donations to benefit those families who were affected by the tornado that hit Western MA on June 1.  On Monday, June 6, the Falcons donated the items they collected to the Salvation Army as part of their tornado relief efforts.

The Falcons staff continues to interact with individuals on a one-on-one basis who are kind enough to make a donation and assist local families in need.  Hundreds of individuals stopped by the Falcons Office on June 4 to make a donation that included cash, clothing, food, water and blankets.  $1,250 cash was collected that will be donated to the Pioneer Valley chapter of the Red Cross.  At the end of the day, the local community helped the Falcons fill their locker room with clothing, blankets, shoes, food, water, soap, shampoo, and a variety of other items.

Ticket packages for the 2011-12 season are currently on sale and can be purchased by calling the Falcons Office at 413-739-3344.  The Falcons offer a variety of flexible ticket options including:  full season plans, 22-game packages, 14-game plans and 7-game packages.  Each package includes flexible payment plans and exclusive invites to special events held throughout the season.
