CHAPMAN AND DANIELS JOIN GUEST LIST
Springfield, MA – The Springfield Falcons, proud members of the American Hockey League, announced today that former Springfield hockey players Brian Chapman and Scott Daniels will be part of the Springfield Hockey Heritage Night on Saturday, October 15 when the Falcons honor the 1989-90 and 1990-91 Calder Cup championship teams at the MassMutual Center.
Chapman and Daniels join Rob DiMaio, Kay Whitmore, Michel Picard, former Springfield head coach Jim Roberts and former radio play-by-play broadcaster John Forslund as special honorary guests the Falcons will be hosting as part of their home opener festivities.
Chapman was an assistant captain on the 1990-91 Springfield Calder Cup championship team providing leadership as a veteran defenseman during the campaign. Chapman played in 205 career regular season games with Springfield from 1990-93 recording 200 or more penalty minutes in each of the three seasons. The Brockville, Ontario native also played in 43 career playoff games in Springfield collecting five goals and 11 assists for 18 points and 130 penalty minutes. Chapman concluded his playing career with the Falcons during the 2004-05 campaign.
Daniels, nicknamed “The Chief,” started his pro career with Springfield during the 1990-91 championship season. Daniels played in Springfield for six of his nine professional campaigns from 1990-1996. In 260 career games with Springfield, he totaled 92 points and 994 penalty minutes. Daniels played in 149 career National Hockey League games splitting time between the Hartford Whalers, Philadelphia Flyers and New Jersey Devils.

The Falcons offer a variety of flexible ticket options including: full season plans, 22-game packages, 14-game plans and 7-game packages. Each package includes flexible payment plans and exclusive invites to special events held throughout the season. Single game tickets go on sale Saturday, September 24 at 10 am at the MassMutual Center Box Office.
