FALCONS TRAINING CAMP OPENS SUNDAY

Springfield, MA – The Springfield Falcons, proud members of the American Hockey League, will begin their 18th training camp on Sunday, September 25 with the first skate set for 11 am at the MassMutual Center.  The Falcons will begin camp with 20 skaters and 2 goaltenders. 

FALCONS TRAINING CAMP ROSTER

Forwards – Tom Mele, Matt Lombardi, Mike Thomas, Wade MacLeod, Phil Ginand, Aaron Bogosian, Denny Kearney, Yannick Tifu, Obi, Aduba, Chaz Johnson, Adam Pineault, Oliver Gabriel

Defense – Steven Delisle, Dalton Prout, Joe Grimaldi, Tristin Llewellyn, Ryan Palmer, Brent Regner, Anton Blomqvist, Wade Poplawski

Goaltenders – Brian Mahoney-Wilson, Mike Spillane

The Falcons will start camp with seven players who either spent time with Springfield last year or attended Falcons training camp last season.  Anton Blomqvist, Wade MacLeod, Aaron Bogosian and Denny Kearney all made their pro debuts last year with Springfield, while Steven Delisle and Dalton Prout attended the 2010 Falcons training camp.  Brent Regner played in 56 games for the Falcons during the 2010-11 campaign.

                Preseason Game @ MassMutual Center Vs. Connecticut – 7:00 pm
Thursday, September 29    Ice Time – 10:00 am @ MassMutual Center
Friday, September 30        Ice Time – 10:00 am @ Cyr Arena in Forest Park
                Preseason Game @ Marlborough Vs. Providence – 7:00 pm
Saturday, October 1        Ice Time – 10:00 am @ MassMutual Center
                Preseason Game @ MassMutual Center Vs. Providence – 7:00 pm
