PLAYERS TO RAISE MONEY FOR MEN'S HEALTH
--Player’s Wives/Girlfriends To Sell Bracelets For Special Cause--
Springfield, MA – The Springfield Falcons, proud members of the American Hockey League, announced today that they will host their 1st Annual “Celebrity Bartender Event” at Q-Pin2’s Billiards (formerly Boston Billiard Club) located at 885 Riverdale Street in West Springfield on Wednesday, November 30 from 6-8 pm. Falcons players will be in attendance to help raise monies/awareness for men’s health.
During this special event, the Falcons will host special raffle prizes during the night with the proceeds benefitting men’s health research. Throughout the month of November, individual Falcons’ players will be showing their support for men’s health research by growing mustaches as part of the league-wide “Movember” campaign.
The Falcons also announced that player’s wives/girlfriends will be selling special bracelets at home games on November 11 & 12 as part of the “Love For Lokomotiv” campaign to benefit the families of the Lokomotiv Russian Hockey Team who were affected by the tragedy on September 7, 2011.
Ticket packages for the 2011-12 season are currently on sale and can be purchased by calling the Falcons Office at 413-739-GOAL. The Falcons offer a variety of flexible ticket options including: full season plans, 22-game packages, 14-game plans and 7-game packages. Each package includes flexible payment plans and exclusive invites to special events held throughout the season.
