FALCONS PLAYERS VISIT WITH YOUTH HOCKEY KIDS

January 10, 2012 - The Springfield Falcons hosted a special youth hockey family night with members of Ludlow Youth Hockey on Monday, January 9 as #19 Wade MacLeod and #32 Aaron Bogosian skated with the Wildcats at Smead Arena in Springfield.

Both MacLeod and Bogosian, along with team mascot "Screech," spent over an hour with the youngsters on the ice giving kids an opportunity to meet two Falcons players and have some fun talking about the team and hockey in general. Both MacLeod and Bogosian are in their first full seasons of pro hockey with MacLeod playing college hockey at Northeastern University and Bogosian attending St. Lawrence.

After the skate, MacLeod and Bogosian took time to sign autograph pictures for everyone in attendance and they also spent some time talking with families about the importance of youth hockey and the role it plays at an early age for young hockey players.

Ludlow Youth Hockey is one of several local youth hockey organizations in the area who support the Falcons and everything they do in the community.  Ludlow Youth Hockey is based at Smead Arena in Blunt Park in Springfield. The Falcons thank Jeremy Soja and all members of the Ludlow Youth Hockey organization for their continued support!
