FALCONS PARTNER WITH DAKIN ON SUNDAY

FALCONS TO HOST DAKIN PIONEER VALLEY HUMANE SOCIETY NIGHT THIS SUNDAY

Springfield, MA – The Springfield Falcons, proud members of the American Hockey League, announced today that they will be hosting “Dakin Pioneer Valley Humane Society Night” this Sunday, February 12 when the Falcons host the Manchester Monarchs starting at 3 pm.

As part of this special evening, the Falcons players’ wives and girlfriends will be partnering with members of the Dakin Pioneer Valley Humane Society to host a special fundraiser during the game.  There will be a table set up behind section 1 that will include autographed items from both the Falcons and their National Hockey League affiliate, the Columbus Blue Jackets with proceeds benefitting the Dakin Pioneer Valley Humane Society.

As a continuation, the Falcons will also be partnering with the Dakin Pioneer Valley Humane Society to host a special fundraising night on Tuesday, February 21 from 5-9 at the Red Robin Restaurant in Holyoke, MA with a portion of the sales that evening going to Dakin, the only local humane society serving the entire Pioneer Valley.  Falcons players, wives, girlfriends and coaching staff will be in attendance at Red Robin helping raise funds.

Dakin Pioneer Valley Humane Society provides shelter, education, advocacy, and assistance for animals and people in need. Dakin does not receive any government funding nor is Dakin funded or operated by any national humane organization. Dakin is a local, private, non-profit organization that relies solely on contributions from individuals and businesses who care about animals to bring its services to the community.
