FALCONS INTRODUCE NEW ONLINE STORE
Springfield, Mass. - The Springfield Falcons, AHL affiliate of the NHL's Columbus Blue Jackets, rolled out their new online store on Wednesday. The Internet home of the "Falcons Nest Pro Shop" offers a user-friendly design, giving fans an easier way to purchase their favorite Falcons merchandise.
"We are pleased to be able to offer a friendlier and easier way for fans to be able to purchase Falcons merchandise online," Falcons Merchandise Coordinator Alicia Janeczko said.

Features of the Falcons' new online store include a toolbar near the top of the page with direct links to purchase men's and women's apparel, hats, and novelty items. Fans can also now use the store to buy online gift certificates for friends and family. Other new features of the store include a "shop by price" option and the ability for customers to check their order status. Falcons ticket packages, including the club's special "Opening Night Pack," are also available online.
The Falcons will be adding new merchandise items throughout the 2012-2013 season. After opening night, fans will be able to use the online store to purchase the Falcons' new alternate jersey. Additional items will be added to the store as they arrive.
As part of the rollout of the new online Falcons Nest Pro Shop, the Falcons will hold a special merchandise sale at the MassMutual Center this Saturday, Sept. 29 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Select merchandise will be available at a 30% discount, and fans will be able to preview some of the team's new inventory that will be on sale this season. The merchandise sale will coincide with the release of single-game tickets, which will also become available this Saturday at 10 a.m.
The Falcons open up the 2012-2013 campaign on Saturday, Oct. 13, when they welcome the St. John's IceCaps to Springfield at 7:00 p.m. Ticket packages to see the Falcons this season start as low as $112 and can be purchased by calling (413) 739-GOAL (4625). Individual game tickets go on sale this Saturday, Sept. 29 at 10:00 a.m. at the MassMutual Center Box Office and through Ticketmaster.com.
