BROC LITTLE RELEASED FROM SPC

The Falcons announced Thursday that the team has, by mutual consent, released Broc Little from his American Hockey League standard player contract.

Little appeared in 20 games for the Falcons in 2013-14, totaling eight points (three goals, five assists) and a +2 rating. The Phoenix, Arizona native played the previous two seasons in Sweden, including the 2012-13 campaign with AIK of the Swedish Hockey League, where he led the team and ranked fifth in the league with 46 points.
 
Before beginning his pro career, Little was a stand-out at Yale University. In four years with the Bulldogs, he amassed 142 points (72 goals, 70 assists).
 
The Falcons travel to Lewiston, Maine to take on the Portland Pirates Friday, January 17 at the Androscoggin Bank Colisee. The team returns to the MassMutual Center Saturday, January 18 to host the Providence Bruins at 7:00 p.m.
