AUSTIN MADAISKY REASSIGNED TO EVANSVILLE

The Springfield Falcons announced Monday that defenseman Austin Madaisky has been reassigned to the ECHL’s Evansville IceMen by the Columbus Blue Jackets, the team’s NHL affiliate.
 
Madaisky, 22, has appeared in 37 games this season with the Falcons, totaling eight points (four goals, four assists), 10 penalty minutes and a +5 rating. Also playing six games for Springfield during the 2012-13 campaign, the Surrey, British Columbia native has amassed eight points, 12 penalty minutes and a +6 rating in 43 career AHL contests.
 
In 14 games with Evansville between this season and the 2012-13 campaign, Madaisky has registered six points (two goals, four assists) and two penalty minutes.
 
A product of the Western Hockey League’s Kamloops Blazers, Madaisky was selected by the Blue Jackets in the fifth round of the 2010 NHL Draft
 
The Falcons are back in action Tuesday, April 1 when they visit the Bridgeport Sound Tigers at 11:00 a.m. The team returns to the MassMutual Center Friday, April 11 to host the Portland Pirates at 7:00 p.m.
