The Springfield Falcons announced Wednesday that forward Jeremy Langlois has been recalled from his loan to the Evansville IceMen, the team’s ECHL affiliate. Langlois - who was loaned November 6, netted 11 points (five goals, six assists) in eight games with the IceMen.
The rookie winger has appeared in three games this season with the Falcons, recording one shot and a -1 rating. Langlois played the last four seasons at Quinnipiac University, where he totaled 100 points (56 goals, 44 assists) in 156 games. Langlois led the ECAC in mulit-point games a season ago (4) and paced Quinnipiac in goals in 2010-11 (18) and 2011-12 (17).
The Falcons look to keep the current six-game winning streak going with two games this weekend – Friday, November 29 at the Manchester Monarchs and Saturday, November 30 versus the Portland Pirates at the MassMutual Center. The puck drop for Saturday’s game is set for 7:00 p.m.
