The Springfield Falcons will host its inaugural Hockey ‘N’ Heels event, presented by Health New England, at the MassMutual Center Saturday, February 15 at 4:00 p.m. before the Falcons host the Bridgeport Sound Tigers at 7:00 p.m. The event is FREE for anyone with a ticket to the game that night.
This exclusive event for women will teach a fun, interactive Hockey 101 and include a vendor showcase and a speaker series with Falcons legend and Stanley Cup champion Manny Legace, Falcons President and Springfield Falcons Charitable Foundation President Sarah Pompea, a current Falcons player and an American Hockey League official. There will also be complimentary hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar.
“Health New England is proud to partner with the Springfield Falcons for the inaugural Hockey 'N' Heels event,” Lynn Ostrowski, director of brand and corporate relations at Health New England, said. “HNE is dedicated to improving the health and wellness of the people living in our communities and contributing to the economic foundation of our region; a vision we share with the Falcons organization. We hope this event will bring women from all different backgrounds together to network, have fun and share in (or build) their love for the sport of hockey.”
As part of the event, ladies are encouraged to wear red, white and blue heels. The Falcons will hold a contest for the best heels and the winner will receive a prize, courtesy of Health New England.
