The Springfield Falcons announced Saturday morning that defensemen Tim Erixon and Cody Goloubef have been returned on loan by the Columbus Blue Jackets, the team’s NHL affiliate.
Erixon, 22, has recorded 24 points (four goals, 20 assists) in 27 games with the Falcons this season. He appearaed in two games with the Blue Jackets earlier in 2013-14, totaling one blocked shot, one hit and one shot in 28:41 of action. Erixon has amassed 86 points (12 goals, 74 assists) and a +18 rating in 118 career AHL games between the Falcons and Connecticut Whale.
Goloubef, 24, has appeared in three games with Columbus this season, registering one hit, one shot and two penalty minutes in 31:53 of action. Named to the 2014 AHL All-Star Classic roster, the 6-foot-1, 195-pound defenseman has 20 points (six goals, 14 assists) and a +9 rating in 41 games with Springfield this season.
The Falcons hit the road to take on the Crunch in Syracuse Saturday, February 8 at 7:00 p.m. and the Providence Bruins at the Dunkin’ Donuts Center Sunday, February 9 at 3:05 p.m. The team returns to the MassMutual Center Friday, February 14 to host the Hartford Wolf Pack at 7:00 p.m.
