The Springfield Falcons will host a standout Wednesday, April 23 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on West Columbus Avenue near the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in an effort to raise local awareness of the team’s involvement in the 2014 American Hockey League Calder Cup Playoffs.
Fans are encouraged to dress in Falcons apparel and join the front office staff and mascot Screech in raising playoff signs at the standout to support the team’s postseason run. The first 50 fans in attendance will be allowed to keep their signs to display outside of their homes.
The Falcons begin their opening-round series versus the Providence Bruins Wednesday, April 23 at the Dunkin’ Donuts Center in Providence. The team will host its first two home playoff games Friday, April 25 and Saturday, April 26 at the MassMutual Center. Both games will begin at 7:00 p.m.

Support the Falcons throughout the 2014 Calder Cup Playoffs by wearing red, white and blue at all home games.
