FALCONS UNVEIL FLIGHT TO 1500

FALCONS ANNOUNCE THE FLIGHT TO 1500...EVERY TICKET COUNTS

Springfield, MA – The Springfield Falcons, proud members of the American Hockey League, announced today their 2011-12 season ticket campaign aimed at increasing the franchise’s season ticket base.  The mission of the season ticket campaign is for the organization to reach a base of 1,500 season ticket packages.

“In reflection of this past season, it’s apparent that the Springfield Falcons need to grow as a business to stay viable in the American Hockey League,” said Falcons’ Majority Owner Charlie Pompea.  “To do this, we need to increase our season ticket base to reach a total of 1,500.  Achieving this would make the Springfield Falcons ticket base comparable to similar market teams of the American Hockey League.  Remember, every ticket counts.”

As part of “The Flight to 1500,” every ticket package sold during this campaign will include a donation of tickets to the Falcons Friends program, a special ticket program the Falcons created aimed at providing tickets to local underprivileged children.  Tickets allocated towards the Falcons Friends program are dispersed to local non-profit organizations allowing thousands of local families a chance to experience Falcons Hockey.

Everyone purchasing a ticket package during this campaign will be automatically entered in both monthly prizes and the overall grand prize.  One monthly random winner, starting in June and concluding in October, will win a Falcons’ game-worn jersey.  The grand prize will include an all-expenses paid trip to Columbus to watch the Falcons’ National Hockey League affiliate, the Columbus Blue Jackets.  The grand prize winner will be randomly selected at the 2011-12 Falcons’ home opener.

Ticket packages for the 2011-12 season are currently on sale and can be purchased by calling the Falcons Office at 413-739-3344.  The Falcons offer a variety of flexible ticket options including:  full season plans, 22-game packages, 14-game plans and 7-game packages.  Each package includes flexible payment plans and exclusive invites to special events held throughout the season.
