Springfield, MA – The Springfield Falcons, proud members of the American Hockey League, announced today that forwards Aaron Bogosian, Wade MacLeod and Mike Thomas have all signed standard American Hockey League contracts for the 2011-12 season.  All three players are currently at the Columbus Blue Jackets’ Development Camp from June 28 – July 2.

Bogosian made his pro debut with the Falcons on March 19, 2011 against the Binghamton Senators after completing his collegiate career at St. Lawrence University.  The 6-foot, 190-pound native of Massena, NY was team captain of St. Lawrence during the 2010-11 campaign and posted a career high 14 goals, 14 assists and 28 points in 35 games. 

Bogosian spent four seasons at St. Lawrence where he totaled 33 goals and 46 assists for 79 points in 142 career games. 

MacLeod also started his pro career with the Falcons last season after completing his collegiate career with Northeastern University.  The 5-foot-11, 185-pound native of Coquitlam, British Columbia scored his first pro goal in his pro debut on March 23, 2011 at Hartford. 

MacLeod led the Huskies in scoring three straight years from 2008-2011.  He set career highs last year in goals (22), assists (23), and points (45) in 38 games.  In 149 career games at Northeastern, he registered 61 goals, 76 assists good for 137 points.  

Thomas is entering his first professional season after leading the Saint John Sea Dogs to a Memorial Cup Championship during the 2010-11 campaign.  The 6-foot-1, 204-pound native of New Maryland, New Brunswick served as captain of Saint John from 2009-2011 and he concluded his junior career with 37 goals, 83 points and 470 penalty minutes in 288 career games with the Sea Dogs.
